Yinka is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ife, Nigeria. His 22 years experience has taken him through various aspects of engineering practice and in different positions. Starting as a Pupil Engineer with Central mechanical workshop of Oyo State Ministry of Works and Transport Eleyele Ibadan, and then Engineer 1 at Ajaokuta Steel Company Ltd, Kogi State; Service Engineer with Leventis Technical PLC Apapa Wharf, Lagos, Enugu Regional Service Manager of John Holt Engineering Plc; Service coordinator for International Oilfield Services Port Harcourt; Mechanical Engineer with the ELF/ Total Obite Gas Project commissioning team, QA/QC engineer in Shell Central Mechanical Workshop East, and also Field Maintenance Engineer Egbema Fields with Nigerian Petroleum Development Company(NPDC).

Yinka has over 16 years wealth of experience in Rotating Equipment maintenance with emphasis and specialisation in Generators, Pumps and Compressors. He has attended various trainings including Contract administration, HSE hearts and minds Supervisory behavioural courses, and World Class Maintenance Practices. He is a member of The Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
