John has nearly 20 years experience in Management Consulting, Supply Chain Management and Financial Management.
John worked for major E&P companies as a Management Consultant, and has worked in such areas as Gas and Power, Refinery Management, Fuel Lubricants Supply Chain and Energy Trading and Risk Management.
John Worked for 3 years in Management Consulting within both the Energy and Financial Services practice of Sapient Corporation, an American Consulting Firm. He has consulted for Blue chip organizations such as BP, Shell, PowerGen and SEEBOARD Energy. In Financial Services, John has worked with Goldman Sachs, Royal Bank of Scotland, Societte Generale and Deutche Bank.
In previous roles, John worked at Deloitte & Touché as a Business Analyst, British Telecom as Procurement Manager, Barclays Bank as a Banking Officer and the Civil Service (Lord Chancellors Department) as the Financial Systems Manager. John is an articulate professional, with a can do attitude, and also brings vast experience within the oil and Gas industry.
John Studied for an HND in accountancy in Nigeria, and went on to study for an MSc in Finance and an MBA in the UK.
John has attended several Energy conferences in the UK, USA and Africa, and taken numerous courses in the Oil and Gas Industry at the International Petroleum Exchange, The College of Petroleum and Energy Studies and the Princeton Energy Program.
From 2002-2005 John was the Finance & Business Development Director of Bell Oil & Gas. In January 2006 he became the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all Financial, Treasury, Settlement and Tax matters. In addition John plays an active role in company strategy, planning, business development & corporate services.
John also heads the Supply Chain Management Division.
