BOG Showcases in-country Capabilities at NOGOF 2017

BOG participated at the recently concluded Nigeria Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF) 2017. It was a two-day event themed: “Advancing Indigenous Participation in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry for National Development”.

BOG was represented at the fair by Rotating Equipment Manager, Yinka Adetuberu; Business Development Manager, Clinton Idibia and Senior Product Specialist – Composite Pipe Systems, Tunde Sebastian. The event involved visits by participants / delegates to the exhibition stands of BOG and other participating companies.

At the BOG stand, samples of composite pipes, dosing and pneumatic pumps, hydraulic hoses, Valves Fittings and Tubings (VFT) materials and Computational Systems Incorporated (CSI) 2130 machinery health analyser. BOG representatives showcased the company’s core capabilities at the fair.

All through the event, participants showed keen interest in our products and services, especially our composite pipes and our pumps. The BOG team at the fair provided answers to questions asked by participants.

Notable among participants that visited BOG stand were the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Wabote, and his entourage of directors and staff of NCDMB. The Head of Nigerian Content Development (NCD) at Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), Austin Uzoka; Deputy Director – UK Department of International Trade, John Woodruff; Head of NCD – Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited, Charles Epele; Registrar of the Council for the Registration of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Engr. Kamila Maliki; State Director of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), George Ene-Ita; DPR Operations Chancellor, Bassey Nkanya; and other top government functionaries, prospective clients and delegates from operators.

BOG participation at NOGOF 2017 was a value-added programme. It was an opportunity to interact with members of the NCDMB and other government agencies. It also provided us a platform to showcase our capabilities and have discussions with prospective clients.
